These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tookit, operated by Tookit LLC. By signing up or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

What Tookit is

Tookit is a reminder and notification service. It sends medication reminders by text message and automated phone call, and can alert an emergency contact if you do not respond.

What Tookit is not

Tookit is not a medical service, medical device, or healthcare provider, and it does not provide medical advice. It is not a substitute for medical care, emergency services, or professional supervision. In a medical emergency, call 911.

Who can use Tookit

You must be 18 or older to create a Tookit account. If you are signing up on behalf of someone else — for example an adult family member or someone in your care — you confirm that you have their permission (or the legal authority) to sign them up to receive reminder texts and calls at their number. The person who receives the reminders gets a sign-up confirmation text and can reply STOP at any time. By adding an emergency contact, you confirm that person has agreed to receive Tookit alert texts; each emergency contact is told by text that they were added and can reply STOP at any time.

Payment terms

$2.99 per month (or $32.99 per year), plus any applicable sales tax, billed after your 7-day free trial.
The free trial is limited to one per person, phone number and payment card. If we find an earlier trial (for example, the same email, phone number, or a card whose earlier trial was cancelled), your paid plan starts immediately and the first payment is taken at sign-up. We will tell you by text and email, and you can cancel at any time.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it and email you. Reminders stop if a payment is still unpaid after 7 days.
A credit or debit card is required to continue after the trial. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation takes effect the same day — no further charges or reminders are sent after you cancel.
No refunds are provided for partial months already charged.

Communication consent

By signing up, you agree to receive automated text messages and phone calls from Tookit at the number you provide, including reminders and emergency alerts. Message frequency varies by your settings — up to 3 reminder messages/calls per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by contacting support.

SMS program details. Program name: Tookit Medication Reminders. Messages are a one-time sign-up confirmation, medication reminders you schedule, follow-up reminders if you do not reply, alerts to the emergency contacts you name, replies to commands you text us (PAUSE, RESUME, SKIP, TIME), and one-time account notices such as a cancellation confirmation. No marketing messages are sent. Message frequency varies by your settings (up to 3 reminder messages per day). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email support@utookit.com. Limitation of liability

Tookit is not liable for missed doses, health outcomes, or the failure of any connected service to deliver a reminder. Technology can fail. Tookit is a supplemental tool, not a guarantee.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any account that violates these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
