Tookit follows HIPAA-aligned data handling practices. We do not store medication names or diagnoses. Your personal contact information is encrypted and shared only with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy.

Why this matters

Because Tookit does not store medication names or diagnoses, it may not qualify as a HIPAA-covered entity. Even so, we have chosen to design the service around healthcare privacy principles, because trust matters when you're dealing with something as personal as your health routine.

What this means in practice

We collect the minimum information needed to send a reminder — name, phone, email, schedule, timezone, and emergency contact details.
We never ask for, or store, the name of your medication or any diagnosis.
Contact details are encrypted in storage.
Data is shared only with the named service providers required to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
